Oakland, CA: Riots Continue Over Police Shooting of Oscar Grant

All day today, people occupied the corners of 14th and Broadway at the BART station. As the sun set, people began taking action, denting cars with their bodies and a bus window with a rock. Trash cans were lit on fire and thrown in the street and down the stairs of the underground BART station and bus stop shelters were damaged.

The police violently tackled at least one person and arrested him and most of the the crowd dispersed after that. At about 8pm, the cops outnumbered the people by ridiculous numbers and helicopters still hover over the city.

But this is not the end.

Did you create this comic specifically in honor of Oscar Grant? Or did you find it somewhere?
