Portland, OR: Jeep Attacked By Vandals

A Gresham man who had been driving his new Jeep for just four days said that vandals slashed his tires and caused several hundred dollars in damage Friday.

The crime occurred Friday night at the Gresham park-and-ride near City Hall

The vandal slashed two of his tires, which were made for larger wheels and were mostly than he expected -- $350 per tire.

The vandals caused at least $1,000 in damage by etching a V on his driver-side door.

The park-and-ride may be earning a reputation as a dangerous parking place. Earlier this year, vandals slashed the tires of at least eight cars in the same lot.
