Kansas City, MO: Obama Headquarters Attacked

A brick thrown into Barack Obama's Kansas City headquarters is the latest act of vandalism the metro has seen regarding to the presidential campaigns.

A spokesperson for the Obama headquarters said the latest attack is no big deal. Last month vandals hit both John McCain's and Barack Obama's headquarters.

Several volunteers were at Obama's headquarters at 3100 Gillham around 2 a.m. when a brick was thrown through the glass door. A second larger pan of glass was also shattered.

On the brick was writing that said "Social War" and "False Hope".

Earlier this month, on Oct. 2 in Independence, Mo., a similar act took place when a rock was thrown through the McCain headquarters on Noland Road. The vandals stole a laptop and a satchel belonging to a McCain volunteer.

The attack happened just hours before McCain was scheduled to speak at the Truman Library.
