Bill O'Reilly's Website Hacked By 4Chan Hackivist Group

Days after Fox News Fascist Scumbag Bill O’Reilly condemned the cracking of Sarah Palin’s Yahoo e-mail account, his own Web site fell victim to political hacktivism. Over the weekend, over 205 plain text passwords belonging to BillOreilly.com site members spread across the Internet.

Wikileaks, which describes its Web site as a “developing an uncensorable Wikipedia for untraceable mass document leaking and analysis,” is largely credited with the original posting of fairly innocuous information retrieved from Palin's e-mail account, including pictures of her daughter, her contact list, and e-mails including one purportedly from an appointee urging Palin not to worry about negative press.

In a Fox News clip circulating on YouTube, O’Reilly spoke out against the leak.

"Several hacktivists' blogs and forums claim that members of the “4chan” Internet community known for pranks against the site Ebaumsworld are credited with the O’Reilly hack. Allegedly, some of the perpetrators were spooked by the criminal implications when they discovered that members of the O’Reilly site used the same passwords for PayPal accounts.

Sarah Palin's Email Hacked

Sometime last Tuesday, an unknown hacker gained access to gov.palin@yahoo.com, an e-mail account that Gov. Sarah Palin has used for personal and possibly also state business in Alaska.

The hacker posted the e-mail password to a section of 4Chan, a discussion site known as a haven for Web "trolls" -- deliberate online troublemakers.

For a brief time, Palin was an open book. Readers of 4Chan trudged through her inbox, saving screen shots of her correspondence with friends and supporters, a list of her frequent contacts and pictures of her family.

Sacramento, CA: Republicans and Democrats Fight Eachother

Numerous people have reported having political signs stolen, damaged or defaced in recent weeks, but the vandalism might have peaked in the Sacramento area over the weekend, when the chairman of the Sacramento Democratic Party had his garage door spray-painted with the slogan, "Obama's ship of fools."

Greg Larkins said he left his home in the north area Saturday morning and returned Sunday to find the vandalism. He had had an Obama sign in his front yard.

Elections officials say they have gotten calls about varied acts of vandalism and sign theft, and in Del Norte County last week things got even worse: A bloody deerskin was stuffed through the mail slot of the Democratic Party headquarters in Crescent City, said Dan Ashburn, a 46-year-old volunteer at the office.

Boston, MA: Vandals Attack U-Haul Parking Lot with Drills

Vandalism to vehicles at a U-Haul parking lot in Roxbury led to a gas spill Monday night.

They drilled into the gas tanks of eight vehicles in the lot on Massachusetts Avenue, resulting in a massive gas spill.

An estimated 300 gallons of gasoline ran into the parking lot and onto the street. Gas also was found in the basements of nearby stores.

Amherst, VA: Arson Destroys Construction Site

Lakewood, WA: Man Robs Bank and Makes Getaway on Bike

A well-disguised man robbed a bank on Monday.

The man entered the Heritage Bank, 8801 South Tacoma Way, in Lakewood at 10:12 a.m. Monday.

He walked to the counter and shouted at the teller to give him cash. He indicated he was armed with a weapon.

He took the money, then fled. The robber was last seen heading east on 88th Street while riding a bicycle.

He wore a black hooded, zippered sweatshirt with white edges and black gloves. Like everyone else in Washington State.

Clovis, NM: Eight Prisoners Escape, Four Still Free

A pig investigating last month's escape of eight jail inmates says prisoners probably stole a key left in a door by a corrections officer doing plumbing work at the time, then returned it before anyone noticed.

Four inmates remain at large after escaping from a hole cut in the roof of the Curry County jail in Clovis on Aug. 24.

The most likely explanation was that two days before the escape, an inmate took a key that had been left hanging in the lock of a door where two detention officers were fixing a clogged toilet. The door was to an area housing pipes, and the key opened similar compartments elsewhere in the jail.

Two inmates snitched to agent Dan Aguilar of the district attorney's office that the key was then passed into a separate unit at the jail and used to unlock other doors that housed plumbing fixtures before being returned to the initial door within about 10 minutes. The captors never realized the key was missing.

The officer who unlocked the door told the agent he didn't think he had left the key in the door but wasn't certain. He said the scenario the inmates described "was possible," the report said.

The eight inmates escaped by climbing into an unlocked plumbing compartment and cutting a hole in the roof.

The tools the inmates used to cut through the roof were fashioned out of scraps of metal they found in a plumbing compartment, left behind from previous repair work.

Four were caught within a week. The other four remain on the loose.

Reno, NV: Arsonists Destroy Sporting Car Store

Arson was the cause of a fire that destroyed a number of vehicles in a storage building in south Reno.

The fire sent up a plume of thick black smoke that could be seen for miles away and caused a traffic jam on U.S. Highway 395 during Thursday evening's rush hour.

The blaze destroyed several all-terrain vehicles and watercraft in the metal building behind Michael's Reno Powersports on South Virginia Street.

Tacoma, WA: Condos Attacked, Billboards Defaced

last night, a group of people vandalized two billboards for the point ruston condos and attacked an under-construction condo. one billboard had the words FUCK CONDOS spraypainted across it. the other one had several paintbombs thrown at it. the condos, located near the corner of north state and north eigth street, were paintbombed and had two very large windows of the second story smashed out.

the point ruston condos are just one of many construction projects that are exploiting their workers and throwing them into toxic environments just so that rich yuppies can look out at mount ranier while sipping their cappucino in their posh living room before driving to work in seattle, which is where they came from. the billboards for these condos are in poor areas. they were vandalized so that people will know that these condos and the people who build them are not welcome.

the condo that was attacked is merely another condo, designed to pull in wealthy reisidents, raise property values, push fascist ideals of architectual beauty and further gentrify tacoma. all condos are subject to attack.

the system is crashing and we are the cracks. jump and kick and smash and run. tear the veil off people's eyes. we are in a new world and there isn't time for bullshit. do whatever you can and do it quickly. stop spectating. join in.

this action is in solidarity with those fighting for their homes in guelph, the rnc 8, and paul newman. we have all stolen his cookies.

make total destroy.

Miami, FL: Cages Cut Open At Lab Animal Supplier

"Late on September, 10 we entered the compound of Worldwide Primates (16450 SW 180th Street, Miami, Florida) and cut large holes in 4 outdoor cages. Each cage held 5 or 6 monkeys.

There is no doubt that monkeys can survive in Florida. There are hundreds of wild monkeys in colonies across the state. Worldwide Primates is surrounded by fruit farms.

Worldwide Primates is the business of convicted baby orangutan smuggler Matthew Block. He spent one year in prison and then went back to work importing and selling primates to vivisection labs.

Mr. Block, we haven't forgotten you. Your work is still criminal in our eyes.

Knappa, OR: Vandals Shut Down School District

Vandals swinging axes or baseball bats broke every window of a small northwest Oregon high school, and the district shut down classes for the day.

The Knappa district along the Columbia River in Clatsop County has only two schools— the high school where vandals left shards of expensive double-pane class Monday morning and the adjacent elementary school.

The elementary school, too, was closed, so the pupils would not be exposed to the profanity and obscene gestures in the graffiti the vandals left. It included a bomb threat.

There were four or five vandalism incidents last year, but the schools' rural location makes them hard to prevent.

Chicago, IL: Theives Take $1.5 Million in Jewelry

A brazen daylight robbery of $1.5 million in jewelry may have been committed by a Colombian gang that travels the country committing similar expropriations.

The three or four men who approached the dealer did not say a word, but just grabbed his suitcases containing the jewelry. When the man resisted, they slashed his wrists and stabbed him in the thigh.

The dealer may have been followed to Chicago from Florida or that the crooks worked in teams, one following the victim in Florida and another team following him in Chicago.

The dealer was aware of the danger of thefts and took precautions to avoid them, including routinely checking his rental cars for tracking devices and driving in circuitous routes.

The incident happened about 1 a.m. after officers spotted a Chevrolet Tahoe that had been reported stolen by the OnStar vehicle tracking system.

When pigs stopped the Tahoe on Fulton Industrial Boulevard at Patton Drive, “the driver of the vehicle threw it in reverse and rammed the patrol car that was behind him, then fled forward in an attempt to run over an officer that was outside the car.”

A short time later, the Tahoe was found abandoned near the edge of a wooded area on Santa Rosa Drive in southwest Atlanta. No arrest has been made.

Barre, VT: A String of Vandalism Aimed At Government Targets

One civilian vehicle and seven government vehicles that were parked outside a military recruiting station in Barre lay battered and bruised Thursday morning after they were struck by vandals.

The incident is the latest in a batch of vandalisms that have occurred in the last three weeks. There has been 28 reports of vandalism in the last 19 days, including broken windows and a damaged coin machine.

Over the course of the summer, walls have been spray painted, windows broken, and other automobiles vandalized. On Sept. 9, windows were shot out by a BB-gun on Glenwood Ave., and recently, a window was broken at Bouchard-Pierce Appliances on North Main Street.

Last month, 10 postal service vehicles that were parked outside the post office in downtown Barre were spray painted, four had windows smashed, and one had a windshield broken.

The post office incident and the incident reported Thursday both involved federally-owned vehicles. In addition, the government vehicles at the recruiting station were dam-aged either on, or just hours before, the seventh anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. Someone was making a political statement by damaging government property.

The seven government vehicles had their tires slashed and one had a gouge on the roof as if a rock had been scraped across it or tossed onto it.

Barstow, CA: Vandalism & Burglary Causes Power Outage

Vandalism to a Southern California Edison substation in Barstow left thousands without power Friday.

The initial outage struck 6,541 customers at 11:44 a.m., after a substation one mile southeast of H Street and Bonanza Road was broken into and vandalized.

The initial outage lasted only about 30 seconds, she said, but a second outage hit the same customers at 12:12 p.m., leaving thousands of businesses and individuals without power throughout the afternoon. As of 3 p.m., 4,354 customers were still without power.

The outage apparently resulted from a burglary attempt that cut wires at the substation.

Commuters and tourists were left unable to fill their fuel tanks as multiple gas stations lost power.

Alachua County, FL: Bomb Threat to Courthouses

Several city and county buildings were searched for explosives Thursday afternoon after an anonymous bomb threat.

All that was said was there was a bomb in the courthouse and to get the fuck out. Because the caller did not specify which courthouse, both the criminal courthouse on South Main Street and the civil courthouse on East University Avenue were searched

omb threats are not unusual, and the county has received between 10 and 15 bomb threats this year. Still, every instance has to be handled and checked out, which drains resources.

Scio, OR: ALF Releases Hundreds of Mink from Oregon Fur Factory Farm

According to a communique received by the North American Animal Liberation Press Office this week, 100-150 captive mink were released from S and N Mink Farm in Scio, Oregon. The raid is the third in as many weeks, with thousands of captive wild animals given the chance for freedom from profit-hungry breeders.

The communique reads in full:
"Inspired by the recent liberations in Utah and British Columbia; we released between 100 and 150 mink from S&N Fur Farm (40499 Oupor Drive) in Scio, Oregon. Though thousands more mink remain imprisoned on this farm, crammed sometimes 6 and 7 at a time into filthy feces encrusted cages, at least some will have a chance at a free natural life. Also in the sheds of torture were the cages of furious foxes, yearning to be free, rattling their own cages with vengeance. This is our path through this chaotic and frustrating world. Our wisdom will appear to you long before we will. Till the last cage is empty, till all beings are free. ALF

Note** There is no security at this farm. Only the blaring sounds of 80's love ballads and country music over a loud speaker. Don't let that deter you."

Imprisoned in cages for life, fur-bearing animals are forced to endure intensive confinement compared to the miles of territory these animals would enjoy in the wild - their natural state. The natural instincts of these captive animals are completely frustrated; self-mutilation, sickness, infection, poor sanitation and the sheer stress of confinement leads animals to premature death. When they survive, animals of sufficient size are killed by anal electrocution or gassing. Whereas reports from the fur industry have surfaced that liberations were harmful to the animals, the Animal Liberation Front (ALF) and other organizations have a long history of successfully releasing animals into the wild from fur farms. In addition to liberating the wild animals destined for a certain, painful and agonizing death, another goal of liberationists is to cause economic damage to fur farms; dozens of fur farming operations have seen economic ruin since "Operation Bite Back" began by the ALF in the 1990s.

“The fur industry wants the public to believe that most of the mink liberated are recaptured or killed after being freed, but this is not the case; and I would argue that even if some are recaptured, at least they have been given a chance at what everyone deserves, a chance to live free” stated Camille Hankins, a Press Officer with the Animal Liberation Press Office. "Contrary to the rhetoric of those who profit from the imprisonment and killing of these beautiful, wild creatures, scientific studies have proven captive mink have the innate ability to survive in the wild, do not decimate other animal populations or the environment, and do not carry away small children or pets."

Portland, OR: Foie Gras Serving Restaurant Stink-Bombed

Around 8pm on Monday, Sept. 08, Blue Hour received a foul alert of protest when an autonomous group entered into the restaurant and 16 stink bombs were set off inside, right next to the kitchen. This action was taken during dinner hours in order to disrupt business because this restaurant refuses to take the cruel and grotesque foie gras off of their menu.

Foie gras (the liver of a duck or a goose that has been specially fattened) involves force-feeding birds more food than they would eat in the wild, and much more than they would voluntarily eat domestically. The feed, usually corn boiled with fat (to facilitate ingestion), deposits large amounts of fat in the liver, thereby producing the buttery consistency sought by the gastronome. Foie gras production methods, and force feeding in particular, consist of cruel and inhumane treatment of animals. Specific complaints include livers swollen to many times their normal size, impaired liver function, expansion of the abdomen making it difficult for birds to walk, death if the force feeding is continued, and scarring of the esophagus. It's one of the most abusive factory farm products, since workers shove tubes down birds' throats in order to make them consume a grossly large amount of food multiple times each day for the last couple weeks prior to their slaughter. California and more than a dozen countries have banned its production.

There has been a long standing campaign against Blue Hour because they and their customers have been hostile, violent and have refused to even engage in dialogue with people who oppose foie gras production. "We communicated to Blue Hour that this is just a glimpse of what is to come if Blue Hour and their customers continue to engage in animal cruelty. Foie gras stinks, and now so does your bougie restaurant. Fuck Foie Gras!"

Santa Cruz, CA: Solidarity Action With Guelph Wood Squat

On August 24, four windows and a glass door of the sales office of 2030 North Pacific were shattered with a hammer. Three weeks earlier, on the night before the "grand opening" (August 1), the walls were paintbombed by glass bottles filled with black paint.

2030 North Pacific is a monstrous four-story development that spans an entire city block of downtown Santa Cruz with upscale condos (selling for over $200,000) and storefronts for yet more shitty boutiques. Anyone who lives in Santa Cruz (who isn't a yuppie, that is) has probably seen this offensive gentrification and winced in disgust.

The triangular city block had been an abandoned lot in the years previous, and before that once hosted a community space called What is Art? "Development" is as good a euphemism as any for capitalism's process of transforming open spaces and anything with potential for life into dead commodities. We cannot wait for this city to crumble into ruins where human beings and animals might be able to breathe and feel sunlight and play again--and so we hasten to destroy these hated constructions in whatever small way we can. Next time, a mob armed with sledgehammers...

This most recent attack is in solidarity with the people living at the "wood squat" of Guelph, Ontario who are facing eviction by that city today, August 25. A group of people there have been living for over a year on some forested land technically owned by the city, growing and foraging much of their food. And now, the perennial conflict arises again between those desiring to live freely and this civilization based upon "owning" and "developing" the land and suppressing all other ways of life.

Centralia, WA: Bomb Found Undetinated Near Coal Power Plant

A homemade bomb was discovered Wednesday along the train tracks which bring coal into TransAlta’ power plant outside Centralia, WA.

There is a possibility the explosive fashioned from a five-gallon propane tank fell off of a coal car coming into the coal burning plant. It was found upside down in a ditch along railroad tracks near a trestle, about a mile from the power plant.

The blasting cap on the device had burned, but the tank did not explode.

Earlier this week, the sheriff’s office in Thurston County was called to investigate a suspicious fire on a train trestle along state Route 507 near McKenna and Yelm.

South Jordan, UT: Over 300 Mink Liberated From Fur Farm

"This is a local soldier out of Utah letting you guys know of a raid that just happened last night at the South Jordan, Utah McMullen Mink Farm, 300 plus mink were released with all their breeding records destroyed. Good news, haven't seen this done in a while so it had to be done."

Santa Cruz, CA: McDonalds Attacked in Solidarity to Those Resisting Olympics

In the early morning of August 25, three windows were broken and a surveillance camera knocked off the roof of the Ocean Street McDonalds in Santa Cruz, California.

The Beijing Olympics have ended, but the repressive apparatus set up for the Games remains in place: some 300,000 surveillance cameras, 400,000 informants, and a general tightening of government control. This is always the result of these multinational spectacles. McDonalds, one of the major sponsors of the Olympics, also remains omnipresent and continues to reaps its profits with four new restaurants and a large share of the advertising spectacle. This, too, is business as usual.

McDonalds will also gladly sponsor the 2010 Winter Olympics on stolen indigenous land in British Columbia and the 2012 Summer Olympics in the most surveilled metropolis in the world (London). They will continue to be attacked for their role in perpetuating the Olympics and all the repression, surveillance, development and profiteering that accompany the Games.

In the early morning of August 25, three windows were broken and a surveillance camera knocked off the roof of the Ocean Street McDonalds in Santa Cruz, California. Here, as in Beijing and everywhere else in the world, the cameras are the bosses' eyes pointed at the workers being exploited and the homeless and impoverished who congregate outside this unfortunate venue.

People the world over hate McDonalds as a foremost symbol of American capitalism, and its franchises are targeted in almost every uprising and riot that erupts these days. Here in California too, we revolt against everything McDonalds is and represents. We know that the crap that they pass off as "food" is "cheap" in dollars, but is the direct result of worker exploitation, rainforest deforestation, etc. We're sick of the bullshit that is McDonalds, just as we are disgusted with the spectacle of the Olympics and enraged by the constant presence of surveillance cameras everywhere. We're sure that many others share our distaste, and we encourage them to articulate their negativity through action.

St. Paul, MN: Anarchists Riot During Republican Naitonal Convention

Anarchists from all over the United $tate$ attacked police with rocks, bottles, flag poles, banners and fists, broke windows of corporations and one window of a bus full of republicans, slashed the tires of delegate buses, police cars, capitalist media vans, attacked delegates with homemade pepper spray and built barricades in the streets of St. Paul during the Republican National Convention. We are strong together.

Many of us have imagined many horrible events in our circles. Glimpses of many possible futures have flashed through our imaginations. But usually these nightmares are just that: nightmares. They are things which MAY happen. What happens, though, when what some of have feared is made manifest before us?

Power refers to its enemies as terrorists. It always has and it will always do so. Power cannot allow the wild ones with a blueprint for a new world to walk freely. And so they are painted as dangerous criminals and cast into the realm of the shadows. All resistance finds itself in this dark place at some point.

We are all just emerging from the shadows, however. The events of September the First were just another of the glimpses of light that has recently been breaking the darkness all around us. It marks our return to the outside world.

All preparations for this battle were done openly and defiantly. Those readying the counter-curses were brave and bold and filled with love every step of the way.

Some people are being punished for this bravery. The enemy cannot stand the fact that people were not afraid. In the days leading up to September the First, the enemy attempted to decapitate what it viewed as an "organization". Houses were raided and people were thrown in cages. Perhaps the enemy thought this would stop what it knew was coming. As they undoubtedly know by now, they utterly failed in their objectives.

Many witches and wizards were on the street on the First. We came from all corners of the land. Our spells combined and interlocked. Our energy was focused and fierce. As always, we moved too quickly to be seen or stopped. Neither the pigs nor the media could understand how we vanished so quickly after casting our spells.

We cannot be stopped because we have no leaders and receive no orders. We carry all that we need inside of us. Each one of us are independent and together. No one can stop us by rounding up a few people. The enemy only knows how to fight an entity which resembles itself. We share none of the enemies repulsive characteristics and thus share none of their countless weaknesses.

The people who are being charged with "conspiracy to riot in furtherance of terrorism" are the unfortunate victims of the venom and stupidity of the enemy. They are not leaders. We have no leaders. These people were simply not afraid. No longer is the enemy focusing its eye on those in the shadows. Now it is targeting anyone who dares to organize in the open where the people we need most can see us.

Some of us have dreaded this day, but now it is here. Where do we go now? In the past, people have been afraid and gone exactly where the enemy wanted them to go: jail, isolation, obscurity. We should not repeat the same mistakes. The stakes are far too high now. To be afraid, to slow down, to stop, to run away; that is what they want us to do. We must all do everything in our power to take our battle to every corner of this country. We must also make this battle visible. To everyone.

Find your covens, sharpen your minds, ready your wands and take out your broomsticks. Look the enemy in the eye and boldly hurl your curses. Move quickly, move constantly, move smartly. Make the enemy regret every single one of its actions. Teach the spells you have learned to others. This is it, witches and wizards. Gather with the ones you love and trust. Hold them tightly and hold them closely, for they are whom you must never forget and never lose sight of. You have all that you need to continue the battle.

Everything that comes next is your responsibility.

And yours alone.

Pittsbugh, PA: Crews Of Anarchists Wreck Havoc

A late evening stroll got a bit hectic tonight. You know how these things go.

Multiple squads of anarchists attacked banks and corporate businesses throughout Pittsburgh. Windows were smashed and walls were painted. Numerous other symbols of capitalist control were targeted, including the destruction of an ATM. We hit targets in multiple yuppie neighborhoods, acting in solidarity with those taking action against the RNC. Preemptive repression will not go uncontested.

Just another night on the town.

Have fun in St Paul!

Its Monday September 1st. Let's rock this shit.

Pittsburgh, PA: Bank Smashed With Iron Bars

This week the National City Bank branch on Penn Avenue in
Pittsburgh was attacked with iron bars. We damaged the front windows,
smashed out the side windows, and destroyed the ATM. The reason we
chose this target is obvious. It was an attack on a symbol of the
entire capitalist system of exploitation. Primarily, however, we chose
to carry out this attack as an act of solidarity with our friends and
comrades who are fighting in Denver and the Twin Cities against the
conventions. For those of us who cannot be there, this is the least we
can do to stand in solidarity with you. We hope that this action
inspires you and lets you know that you are not alone. We know that
comrades all over the country are carrying out actions like this in
solidarity, and we know that there will be many more. Fight your
hardest, and we'll do the same.

It don't stop.
